We are delighted to welcome spectators to The Blenheim Triathlon this year. Did you know Blenheim Palace Triathlon is located at a World Heritage Site? Friends and family will get to see you swim, cycle and run as well as visit this stunning location!

Entry to the grounds will be free of charge to our competitors. Spectators will be required to purchase an admission ticket. This will give access to the Blenheim Palace Park grounds.  Blenheim Palace will be open for Palace tours throughout the weekend. For access to the Palace and The Palace Gardens you will need to purchase a Triathlon Palace, Park & Gardens Ticket. Annual Pass ticket holders will be permitted free access to the event.

Once you have arrived and entered the event village there will be different walking routes signposted for participants and spectators when you exit the village and head towards Transition. Spectators will still be able to cheer you on at the swim start or on the bike or run routes. You will also be able to meet up again with participants in the event village once they have completed their event.

Dogs are permitted on site but not in the Palace or Formal Gardens. Please note dogs must be kept on leads at all times for the safety of the triathletes. All dog walkers must follow the dedicated dog walking and spectator route. Spectators that bring dogs will not be allowed in the transition area.

Spectators will be able to track participants around the course via a dedicated Blenheim Palace Triathlon App which will be available to download shortly. The download link will be available via email and on the Blenheim Palace Triathlon Website.

NB: COMPETITORS GAIN ACCESS TO THE GROUNDS FREE OF CHARGE ON RACE DAY. WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN.

brownlee foundation children’s activities

Attending the event this year, running activities a bike and run activity for young people in our event village is the Brownlee Foundation.

Founded by Olympic Triathlon Champions Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee, the foundation has a goal to inspire children from all backgrounds to enjoy sport, encouraging them to lead active lifestyles and benefit from the opportunities sport provides.

The activities will be provided free of charge. Bikes are provided but are appropriately sized for Key Stage 2 students (ages 7 – 11).

Children wishing to participate who are younger or older than this can bring their own bikes and helmets. Please note any bikes not supplied by the Foundation are under the responsibility of parents/ guardians to ensure they are safe, roadworthy and in good condition.

A donation to the Foundation for all those taking part would be hugely appreciated to help them keep their amazing work in schools and the community going in the years to come. The best way to do this is through their online giving page.

Children should come ready with a drink, trainers and suitable clothing to take part in some physical activity.
